INDIANS ARRESTED FOR ATTEMPTS TO GET CITIZENSHIP Kathmandu, 14 May: Two Indian nationals have been arrested on the charge of trying to get Nepali citizenships by presenting fake details at the Integrated Mobile Service Camps at Kabahigoth and Simraungadh in Bara district, said Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Ramnath Ghimire, RSS reports from Kalaiya.. Ghimire said Imrit Yadav of Hardiya-6 had tried to provide citizenship to Jhuki Narayan Yadav, an Indian national at the mobile camp at Kabahi Goth, falsely presenting him as his son. Likewise, at the Simrongadh Mobile Service Camp, Hridyanarayan Saha had tried to give citizenship to Manoj Kumar Saha, an Indian national by presenting him as his son at the camp at Haripur-4 of Bara. The District Court has extended time for investigation on both of them. Nnnn NEED FOR INTEGRATED PLAN FOR BHAKTAPUR HAHADEV TEMPLE Kathmandu, 14 May : Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers Krishna Hari Baskota Monday stressed the need of preparing and implementing an integrated detail work plan for the development of Doleshwor Mahadev Temple of Sipadole, Bhaktapur, The Rising Nepal reports from Bhaktaput.. Addressing a special programme organized in the temple premises on the occasion of Askhya Tirtiya, Banskota said religious and domestic tourism could flourish in the area by developing the religious site. He urged all concern bodies to carry out works for the construction of a road and drinking water projects, preservation of forests and renovation of monuments of archaeological values in the area. The temple of Doleshwor Mahadev that was renovated by King Bhupatendra Malla in 1629 B.S is believed to have constructed in the 12 century. Importance of the temple increased after Jagat Guru Bhimashankar Linga Shivacharya Mahaswami in 2066 B.S. proved that the temple was the head part of the Kedareswor temple of India. Secretary Baskota recalled that he was apprised of a need of Rs. 76.6 million to materialize the detail work plan during his earlier visit to the temple that spreads in an area of over 17 ropanis of land. He said that it was urgent to build an inn for the devotees, an office for the temple management and a guest house. Similarly, a drinking water project, a bus Park, direct transportation service from Pashupatnath to Doleshwor Mahadev, upgrading of the road, and telephone service were other needs for the development of the area, he said. Bidur Man Singh, president of Doleshwor Mahadev Preservation and Development Committee, stressed the need for implementing the master plan. He said the people had promised to provide Rs. 55 million for the development of the area when a Mahayagya was orgainsed there in the past. He said the committee collected Rs. 6.4 million in cash during the Mahayagya. Him Nath Dawadi, Chief District Officer of Bhaktpur, social workers Krishna Rajan Kadel, Kiran Thapa and Mohan Giri were also present in the function. nnnn
