increased by Rs, 1, 600,per tola Tuesday compared to Monday..
The yellow metal was being traded for Rs. 50,300 per tola even as buyers couldn’t buy the previous metal at lower prices.
Nepal Rashtra Bank (NRB) has been asked by CIAA why gold isn’t
available in the market to customers at lower prices.

FORMER INDEPNDENT MUSLIM LAWMAKER FROM SAPTARI
KILLED
Kathmandu, 21 May: Former independent lawmaker Sabdural Miya Haq of co0nstituence No.5 Saptari was killed overnight while sleeping at his home in Kalayanpur where he owned a petrol pump.
He was stabbed in the stomach.
The news of his murder by still unidentified person/persons broke out at 8.30 in the morning Tuesday.
There are no sights of gunshot wounds.in his body and he was killed while asleep.
The former lawmaker was elected with 12,607 votes in the last
constituent assembly elections.
District Chief said Haq had NC leanings although he was elected as an independent.

COCONUT JATRA IN LALITPUR
Kathmandu, 21 May: Coconut jatra is being observed Tuesday at Thali in Lalitpur.
The jatra is conducted one day after the chariot with Rain God Rato Machindranath is
towed there from Lagankhel.
Coconut is tossed from atop the chariot to a waiting crowd.
