EIGHT NEPALIS SURVIVE ATTACK BY PAKISTAN TALIBAN ON NANGA PARBAT EXPEDITION UPDATE Kathmandu, 23 June; Eight Nepalis survived an attack by Pakistan Taliban on a climbing group in Pakistan’s 8000 meters high Nanga Parbat, Avenues Television said Sunday night. Sona Sherpa ,35,was killed nnnn DEAD DOLPHIN IN MECHI RIVER Kathmandu, 23 June: A Dolphin has been found dead on the banks of the Mechi River at Mahespur VDC-2, Jhapa on Sundaym RSS reports from Jhapa.. The 7 feet 3 inch long Dolphin was first seen by the local villagers who later informed the police. A police team from the District Police Office, Chandragadi went to the site and brought the mammal to the district headquarters, according to Superintendent of Police Sher Bahadur Basnet. The Dolphin with no marks of injury has become a centre of attraction for many, with people speculating about how it landed along the banks of the river. The mammal is presently under observation at the District Livestock Office. RSS nnnn
