FOUR FAMILY MEMBERS MISSING IN LANDSLIDE Kathmandu, 17 June: Four members of a family are missing after a landslide at Hilsa in HUml near the Tibet border Sunday, Kantipur reports. A mother and three children have gone missing. Nnnn BENI, JOMSON ROAD CLOSED Kathmandu, 17 June:: The Beni-Jomsom road that links the trans-Himalayan district of Mustang to the rest of the country remains obstructed due to the rise in the water level in the Kaligandaki River following incessant rains, RSS reports from Babiyachaur in Myagdhi.. Vehicles cannot operate as the road has been submerged due to the rise in the level of river water at a place called Bhirkate between Histan and Ghar VDCs in Myagdi district. The road became inoperable since Sunday. Vehicles have been stranded as a result. Transport to all the VDCs in Mustang and 10 VDCs in north Myagdi has been cut off due to this and the pilgrims heading to and returning from Muktinath have been facing problem. Nnnn ONE FOUND DEAD ALONG RAPTI RIVER Kathmandu, 17 June: Prem Bote, 18, of Jagatpur VDC-1 has been found dead in the Rapti River. He had gone missing since two days in course of fishing in the river, said Chitwan Police, RSS reports from Ratnanagar, Chitwan.. Bote´s body was found on the bank of the river in course of a search carried out by a joint team of police and locals, said Sub-Inspector Tek Bahadur Gurung at the Area police Office Gitanagar, Chitwan. Meanwhile, a search is underway for those missing in the Trishuli River at Darechowk VDC-3, Kurintar of Chitwan. So far, the missing five have not been traced. The river had swept away five out of six teenagers including three sisters of a single family on Saturday. nnnn
