PRESIDENT NORMAL, BEING DISCHARGED WEDNESDAY

Kathmandu, 25 June: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav is being
discharged from a University of Tokyo hospital Wednesday after medical tests ruled
out major complications in his health,
This was stated by the Nepal embassy in the Japanese capital.
The latest embassy statement based on reports of the should end
speculation on the condition on Nepal’s first president whose
five-year tenure ends soon.
“The comprehensive medical tests included colonoscopy, endoscopy,
CT scan, PET scan, X-rays and blood tests. Prof. Toshiaki Watanabe,
Vice-Director of the premier medical institute who has been
supervising the team of experts told that the
Rt. Hon. President would be discharged from the hospital tomorrow as
the reports of all the tests conducted on the health of the Head of State have been found to be normal," the statement said.
The president was rushed to Japan for examination on recommendation of government medical board.
Dr. Yadav was admitted last Wednesday for investigation.
