SLC results likely to be out on Tuesday Kathmandu, 11 June: The Office of the Controller of Examination (OCE) is all set to publish result of this year’s School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations by Tuesdaym The Rising Nepal reports.. If any case the OCE fails to publish the result on Tuesday, the result will certainly be published next day on Wednesday, an OCE official said. Currently, the OCE has been verifying the marks of students entered into the computer data base. Ganesh Dhakal, Deputy Controller of the OCE said the OCE would probably publish the result on Tuesday. The OCE wants to publish the result as soon as possible, he added. If the OCE will not be able to complete the verifying process of the entered marks, only in the condition, result might publish on Wednesday. Prahlad Aryal, Deputy Controller said, “we will not publish the result during the late evening. If preparations remain incomplete by Tuesday, the OCE will publish the result on Wednesday morning." Aryal added that the OCE has been working cautiously to publish result without any error this year. Last year, OCE had published the result on June 13. According to an official, the OCE has been burning midnight oil to publish the result on an earlier date than the last year. This year's examination was held from March 14 to 22 this year. A total of 528, 257 examinees had appeared in the examinations across the nation. Meanwhile, the OCE would not publish SLC result on any newspaper from this year onwards. The result could be seen at www.moe.gov.np, www.doe.gov.np, www.soce.gov.np, at slc.ntc.net.np websites and through SMS service available at 1400, 5001, 2722, 5566, 2333, 4949, and 5225. To check the result, one needs to type: SLC Symbol numbers and SMS these numbers. Nepal Telecom has also made available the call facility at 1600 to know the result. nnnn
