UCPN MAOIST DENIES CHARGE Kathmandu, 3 June: - UCPN (Maoist) has refuted the charges that the party has launched extortion campaign in different parts of the country, RSS reports.. Issuing a press statement on Monday, party spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota said the charges were baseless and that the party has not asked anyone for donation forcibly. "Instead, the party and party leadership is focused on creating atmosphere conducive for the Constituent Assembly (CA) election", read the statement. The party also urged one and all to not believe on such fake charges intended at disturbing the election. The party further said that such fake rumours spread when the political parties were busy in serious talks for announcing the election date would foil the political as well as election atmosphere. nnnn
