Talking to media persons at Biratnagar Airport on Friday, leader Gachhadar said the UDMF was in a mood of giving up its stance against the threshold just for guaranteeing the upcoming Constituent Assembly elections and drafting a new constitution. Gachhadar is the coordinator of the UDMF. He said minimum threshold system in the election was essential for the stability of democracy. He stressed on the need for resolving all election-related disputes for the announcement of election date. Meanwhile, Nepali Congress leader Dr. Minendra Rijal has argued that the minimum threshold system should be adopted in the election.
