LEBANESE NATIONAL FOUND DEAD

Kathmandu, 8 July: Hasan Karin Begdad, 24, was found dead in his hotel room in Thamel Monday, police said.

He is a Lebanese, police said.

NARA BAHADUR KARMACHARYA SUFFERING JAUNDICE

Kathmandu, 8 July: Nara Bahadur Karmacharya, one of four founding

members of Communist Party of Nepal, is suffering jaundice.

He was admitted to hospital Sunday.

Karmacharya is a UCPN Maoist advisor.

Kathmandu, 8 July::An Egyptian Health Ministry official says at least 34 people have been killed in an attack outside the headquarters of the Republican Guard

in Cairo, Reuters reports from the Egyptian capital..

Khaled el-Khatib said Monday that initial reports indicated 34 people were killed and 300 wounded in shooting outside the building. Earlier, Egyptian military officials had said gunmen killed at least five supporters of the former president and one officer when people tried to storm the building
