CIAA INVESTIGATES BISHAL BAZZAR COMPANY THAT
RUNS FIRST SUPER MARKET

Kathmandu, 27 July: CIAA Friday seized original documents to
investigate possible irregularities in renting out 346 shops in the
country’s first super market in posh New Road.
The Bishal Bazzar Company that runs the complex is running at a loss.
CIAA says the shops were rented out bypassing public procurement act.

PLAN TO FLY TO LONDON

Kathmandu, 27 July: Alpine Air and UK-based Net Airways signed an
agreement Friday to operate international flights from Nepal using an
Airbus A 320-200.
Plans are afoot o operate direct flights between Kathmandu and London.

DIPAK HARSHA NAJRACHARYA TAKES CHARGE OF NRT

Kathmandu, 27 July: Dipak Harsha Bajracharya has been appointed 
acting chairman of troubled New Road Team (NRTt).
He was appointed by a team of trustees which accepted the
resignation tendered by Narendra Shrestha.
NRT has stopped playing club matches because of financial
problems.
Mahabir Club and NRT are the country’s stwo oldest clubs.

SPORTS PERSONALITIES MEET

Kathmandu, 27 July: NOC led by Dhurba Pradhan recognized bu
IOC and National Sports Council Member-Secretary Yuvara Lamaa met Friday.
Their relationship had hilled following the 2012 London Olympics.
Pradhan and Lama discussed Nepal’s participation in future
international events.
