NC PRESIDENT OPPOSES CHANGING ELECTION DATE
Kathmandu, 20 July: Nepali
Congress President Sushil Koirala has said that the polls to Constituent
Assembly must be held on the stipulated date to bail out the country from the
political crisis, RSS reports..
"Now, none can foil election," he said while addressing a programme organised by Lamjung Constituency No. 1 of the party here on Saturday.
At the programme organised under the slogan-'Let's Go to District for CA Elections,' President Koirala said even the international community is pressing to hold the CA elections.
Corruption was rife in the local bodies for not having election for long, he said, adding that the people were spirited for holding the election.
On the occasion, party Spokesperson, Dilendra Prasad Badu, said even the disgruntling CPN-Maoist would finally embrace the CA election.

CONCENTRATE ON ELECTIONS ADVISES OLI

CPN-UML standing committee member KP Sharma Oli has said it was time to
concentrate on making November 19 Constituent Assembly election successful, RSS
reports..
Addressing a programme organized by the Bagmati Zonal Liaison Committee here on Saturday, leader Oli said the activities against the elections must be shunned.
"Coming CA elections is linked to country's development and people's dream. So, people from all sectors need to be united to make the CA elections a success," he stressed.
He expressed his hope that the parties warning of election boycott would finally embrace the CA elections. Constitution was essential for the country. So, CA election was a must, leader Oli added.
Similarly, he argued that the ultra-leftism entered in Nepal in 1996 would automatically vanish after two years.
