LIGHTNING KILL ONE, INJURES 36 UN DHANKUTA

Kathmandu, 30 July: A woman died and around three dozen people were injured after lightning struck them at Bigu-7 in Dolakha district Monday nightm RSS reports from Dhankuta.

The deceased has been identified as Pasang Doma Sherpa, 43, of Bigu-7. Police said that she died on the spot.

The injured in the incident are Maya Thami and Devimaya Thami, among others. The injured are undergoing treatment at local health institutions, said Pasang Sherpa, a local.

NO DEFERRAL OF POLLS

Kathmandu, 30 June:: Unified CPN (Maoist) central committee member Chandra Prakash Khanal has said that the date of the forthcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) election scheduled on November 19 could not be postponed, RSS reports..
