ROUNDTABLE CONF. A PRE-CONDITION SAYS GAJUREL.
Kathmandu, 23 July:: Vice-chairman of CPN-Maoist CP Gajurel has said that only an all-side roundtable conference would provide a unanimous foundation for the CA elections and new constitution making, RSS reports from Nepalginj.

Speaking at a press conference organised by Revolutionary Journalists' Federation, Banke chapter here on Tuesday, he said, "We do not want to make the roundtable conference only our agenda, it must be a consensus and common agenda of all the parties".

Reiterating his party's decision not to take part in the CA elections if the demands were not met, leader Gajurel warned of boycotting the elections if it were to be held by force.

He also accused the UCPN-Maoist party of working to 'sikkimize' and 'bhutanize' Nepal in the pretext of elections.

"There is no possibility of unification with the UCPN-Maoist, now all doors to it have been shut", he said in response to a query on the same from journalists.

VDC SECRTARIES RETURN MONEY

Kathmandu, 23 July: VDC Secretaries in the district have returned the amount of the Social Security Allowance, which they had received by presenting fake
Statistics, RSS reports from Parbat.

The VDC Secretaries returned social security allowance worth Rs. 4.6 million at the direction of the District Development Committee (DDC) after complaints from the public on the irregularities by the VDC secretaries.

The DDC returned the amount of the Social Security Allowance in two installments to the Fund and Comptroller's Office.

The DDC returned Rs. 1,759,900 on July 8 and Rs. 2,833,400 on July 12, according to the Office.
