MAN GIVEN UP FOR DEAD RETURNS HOME

Kathmandu, 5 July: A man on pilgrimage in India;s Utterkhand state

considered dead in flood and landslide

across the border returned as his last rites were being conducted  in Rukum.

Dilli Bahadur Oli, 31, of  Jhula 1 returned as his last rotes were being performed.

TWO APPOINTED DEPUTY ATTORNEY GENERAL

Kathmandu, 5 July: Thok Prasad Neupane and Durga Bandhu Pokhrel have been appointed deputy attorney general.

They were promoted to vacant positions by the cabinet Thursday.
