SYRIA DEPLOT



FIRST PEACEKEEPERS BEING DEPLOYED TO SYRIA

Kathmandu, 11 July: Nepal is to deploy a contingent of  260 Nepal Army (NA) to Syria for the first time ona UN peacekeeping mission at the request of the world body.
The contingent will be deployed in two phases, according to a cabinet
decision.
The first group of130 personnel will be deployed in one moth and the
Remaining by September, an official spokesman said.

JUDGE TO LABOUR COURT APPOINTED

Kathmandu, 11 July: Government Thursday appointed Dhir Bahadur
Chand judge of the Labour Court as per the recommendation of the
legal service commission.

Kathmandu, 11 July:   Cattle Feed Committee in Hetauda is being closed down.
Government decided to retire all  staff with immediate effrct.

THREE TEENAGERS KILLED WHILE SWIMMING

Kathmandu, 11 July: Two sisters and their brother between 13 to 15 yeas died while swimming in a river Thursday at Narayani-8, Nawalparasi
They were children of Lila Bahadur Kumal.
