JAPANESE ASSISTANCE

Kathmandu, 5 Aug.: Japan has extended financial assistance of

USD 260,452 equivalent to Rs 25.131 million) to the GLM Institute for a

project in Sindhuli to improve livelihoods of farmers.

GLM Institute, in close coordination with a local NGO, Srijansil Welfare

 Society, will implement the two-year project.

A project contract  was signed Monday.
