FIVE ARRESTED WITH CHEMICALS TO MANUFACTURE EXPLOSIVES

Kathmandu, 2 Aug. :Police Friday arrested five activists of the
Samyukta Jatiya Mukti Morcha (SJMM) from the capital.
 along with chemicals used in making explosives from the Capital.
The group was behind a murderous  bombing at Babarmahal  February, 2012
killing three persons.
Birendra Kumar Tamang,, Sun Bahadur Pariyar,, Nima Sherpa,
Santosh Majhi and Bhani Nath were arrested according to police..
They were arrested from three different points in the capital with
Chemicals for manufacturing explosives.

PRACHANDA SEEKS EXTENSION OF DEADLINE TO REGISTER AS VOTER

Kathmandu, 2 Aug.: Maoist Chairman Prachanda , who is also
coordinator of High Level Political Committee behind government,
held discussions Friday with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC)
Neel Kantha Uprety..
They discussed ways to enlisted persons not in the voter's list which has been closed and amid demands te deadline for registration be extended...
The UCPN Maoist chief and the election chief also discussed election preparation described as satisfactory by Prachanda.
