NC Acting President Sushil Koirala heading for defeat ;other details

Kathmandu, 12 April: Nepali Congress Acting President Sushil Koirala is in fifth position and is certainly to be defeated in Banke –3.
.Nepal Majdoor Kishan Party has maintained its traditional grip on Bhaktapur where it is leading in both constituencies.
Prakash Man Singh of Nepali Congress was elected from Kathmandu-1 with 14,318 votes; he defeated his nearest rival Education Minister Pradip Nepal of CPN-UML who collected 6,789 votes.
Singh collected more votes that CPN-UML and Maoists.
Maoist woman leader Pampha Bhusal is leading in Lalitpur-3 with 4,181 votes followed by Raghuji Pant of CPN-UML; Chandra Maharjan of Congress is leading in Lalitpur-2 with 4,571 votes followed by Rajkazi Maharjan of CPN (Maoist) with 4,181 votes; CPN-UML’s Siddhi Lal Singh is third with 2,372 votes.
CPN-UML General Secretary Madhav Kumar Nepal and Pushpa Kamal Dahal are leading in constituencies in two constituencies in the capital..
Curfew has been slapped ins Dhading after Congress grabbed ballot boxes being brought to district headquarters and Maoists immediately reacted.
Maoists leading in two constituencies in Bardia.
Maoists have shown impressive results in early vote counting.
Ballots were captured in Dailekh as they were being transported to district headquarters; counting has been suspended with call for a re-poll.
