More details of elections

Kathmandu 10 April: Except for the capital and Biratnagar, probably reflecting voting pattern in urban areas, voter turnout in rural areas is only 30 percent four hours after voting started.
Fifty percent voting was reported in Kathmandu and Biratnagar four hours after the vote; when 50 percent vote was reported in the past, only 30 percent vote in reported from rural areas generally.
A CPN-UML activist was injured in clashes with Congress and UML halting elections at a center.
In Dolakha, Congress prevented others from voting at a center.
In Rautahat, Maoist and Madesh Janaadhikar Forum clashed suspending the vote at a polling center.
Election Commission has invalidated elections in six polling constituencies so far.
Overall national voting picture will emerge four hour after polls close at five in the afternoon or four hours later.
