Another murder in terai; other details

Kathmandu, 9 Nov: Another person has been killed in continuing violence in the terai.
Trader Jitendra Bahadur Singh’s bullet riddled body was found in a field Siraha Friday after he was abducted one day earlier.
Local development Minister Ram Chandra Jha said government negotiators have established direct contact with 11 terai rebel groups and he’s efforting contact with other groups by continuing his stay in the shout.
Jha said no contact has been established with the Goit group of the Terai Janatantrik Mukti Morcha fighting for an independent state in the south.
Jha called on rebel groups to sit down for negotiations with government by mid-December.
“Government can’t wait indefinitely,” he warned.
Jha is a member of a three-member government negotiating team,

YCL attack police post in Tehrathum

Kathmandu, 9 Nov: Two policemen were injured when the YCL Saturday attacked a police post in Tehrathum following an altercation.
The situation was brought under control with intervention of CDO Kamal Kant Regmi.
