Girija says he’s leader of the Nepali Congress parliamentary party

By Bhola B Rana

Kathmandu, 10 Nov: Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala reiterated Monday he’s the leader of the parliamentary party as well.
Koirala told this to reporters as the parliamentary party met Monday to discuss a statute of the legislative wing.
Koirala asked no one to be confused on the person who’s the leader of the party’s legislative wing.
The terse statement is a clear message the ailing octogenarian Koirala will continue in active politics and dashed hopes of Sher Bahadur Deuba and Ram Chandra Paudel to lead theparliamentaryparty.
Koirala has suddenly become active with some critics claiming he was feigning sickness when he was prime minister.
Koirala, once a heavy smoker, has breathing problems and had to move around with oxygen talks to assist his breathing.
