Two Nepali speaking persons killed in Assam

Kathmandu, 13 Nov: Ultras in Assam have killed two Nepali speaking youth, Kantipur reports from Darjeeling.
Dipak Chetri and Tanka Chetri were shot dead in a tea estate near Umaranshu in the north of the district.
Four Nepali speakers were also injured.

Strike in Bir Hospital

Kathmandu, 13 Nov: Staff at Nepal’s oldest Bir Hospital temporarily partially closed down the emergency section Thursday pressing demands, including increased salary and perks.
They charged management ignored demands forcing the closure.
Durga Shrestha heads the movement.
