Three dead, six sick in Rautahat after drinking

Kathmandu, 3 Feb: Three persons died and six others fell sick after drinking spurious liquor at a market in Rautahat Monday.
One person has been arrested.
The fresh deaths come after several deaths were reported in the capital after drinking spurious liquor as well.
A gang manufacturing and selling illicitly manufactured popular brands of Nepali and Indian liquor brands has been busted.

Prices of POL products reduced further

Kathmandu, 3 Feb: Prices of POL produced were reduced further Tuesday.
Petrol price was reduced by three rupees from Rs 80.50 to Rs 77.50 per liter while diesel price was reduced by two rupees from Rs 59.60 to Rs 57.50 per liter.
Kerosene price was reduced by Rs 2.10 and aviation fuel by Rs 5 per liter.
Price of gas cylinder was reduced by Rs 25.

Chinese military team arriving

Kathmandu, 3 Feb: A high-level Chinese military is arriving 10 February.
The team will be the third military team to visit Nepal in to months.
The 19-member team is coming on the invitation of the home ministry.
The team comes after China has shown interest in the terai adjoining India.
A delegation of the foreign department of China Communist Party attended a just concluded general convention of Madesh Janaadhikar Forum in Birjung; the Forum is the largest political party in the terai.
Matrika Prasad Yadav, who in launching a political party after defecting from Maoists is currently visiting China.
