Three killed in Dhanusha, other details (BREAKING NEWS)

Kathmandu, 4 April: Bodies of three persons were found along Jalad river in Dhanusha district Saturday.
Their necks were slit.
Madesh Virus Killers have claimed responsibility for the murders.
Three persons were injured, two seriously, in a Birgunj blast overnight.

PM Prachand returns from Norway, Finland Saturday

Kathmandu, 4 April: Prime Minister Prachanda returned home Saturday after a week-long visit of Norway and Finland.
He said his visit of the two Scandinavian states was successful and added the two countries had accepted political changes in Nepal.
Parliament is scheduled to meet the same day.
But proceedings are likely top be disturbed.
Ruling coalition partner CPN-UML has been boycotting cabinet proceedings; main opposition Nepali Congress has also adopted a tough stance against government.

Foreign Minister Upendra Yadav leaves for China, North Korea

Kathmandu, 4 April: Foreign Minister Upendra Yadav flew for China Saturday for a six-day visit,
He will also visit North Korea after concluding his China visit.
Yadav is laying a ground for Prime Minister Prachanda’s second China visit after assuming office.
Beijing has proposed updating a bilateral peace and friendship agreement.

Former king discussed baby king proposal after return from India

Kathmandu, 4 April: Former King Gyanendra has started discussions on how to install a baby king after positive response from India where he went on a nearly month-long visit, Nepal Samacharpatra reports.
The former king held discussions Thursday evening with three Indian relatives and personal senior personal staff at Nirmal Nibas.
Personal staff Pashupati Bhakta Maharjan, Dr Phadiraj Pathak, Madhusudan Timalshina and Sagar Timalshina were present.
Relatives were the former king’s elders.
The meeting lasted until 10.30 at night.
Staff advised on how to establish a baby king.
The former king proposed establishing a baby king during his India visit.
The former king held discussions Friday night with royal relatives as well.
The former king considers Friday auspicious.

Kathmandu, 4 April: Seto Machindranath chariot is being towed to Hamuman Dhoka Saturday from Ason.
The chariot was pulled to Asan Friday evening from Sanskrit Pathshala.

Campaign against polio

Kathmandu, 4 April: Children totaling 4.4 million in 68 districts were administered polio drops Saturday in an attempt to curb the disease.
Seven hill districts were excluded from the campaign.
Traces of the disease have been detected even after the country was declared free of the disease.

  1. Dear Mr. Bhola Rana jee !
    I read the news about the baby King to reinstate the monarchy in Nepal. But, I non't agree about the baby king, there must be reinstate the people's oriented monarchy under the leadership of King Gyanendra. Why Baby King ? King Gyanendra is a great nationalist, is not the agent of foreigners. So, if we want peace & country's existence king Gyanendra will be only the alternateto solve the problems and to save Nepal.
