New chairman of constitution drafting committee being elected

Kathmandu, 28 May: Most senior member of a constitution drafting committee Kul Bahadur Gurung Thursday asked CA Chairman Subash Nemwang to fix a date for the committee’s chairman .
Gurung read out the resignation letter of committee chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal who has been appointed prime minister.

Overnight damaged two coffer dams of the river.
Water has started overflowing from the third coffer dam.
The river has started eroding banks after a trail of death and destruction last year
Sluice gates on the river dam has been opened to release water.

19- year old girl murdered in Bara


Kathmandu, 28 May: A 19-year-old girl was dragged out from her home in Bara overnight and shot dead.
The brutal murder was carried out by an unknown group as violence continues in the terai.
