Former King Gyanendra going to India again

Kathmandu, 7 Aug: A source said former King Gyanendra is visiting India sometime December, Nepalpatrika reports.
He has been advised to improve relations with India.
Maoists attempted a secret meeting with the former king.
But the former king rejected the request.
Monarchists favour improving ties with India rather than China.

Nepali workers in Korea to get a salary hike

Kathmandu, 7 Aug: Foreign workers in Korea, including Nepalis, will get a salary hike from next year with an improvement in the economic situations amid the recession, Samacharpatra reports.
The decision was taken by an organization that handles permits for foreign workers.
A decision has been made for a 10percent salary increment.
Minimum salary from 2010 will be 4,110 Korean yuans, according to a decision of the labour ministry.
