500 more squatters evicted

Kathmandu, 12 Dec: Police Saturday evicted nearly 500 Maoist squatters who captured a state forest in Kailali in the mid-West.
They continued to capture the government forest after encouragement from Chairman Prachanda Friday.
At least six persons were killed, including a policeman, when 20,000 squatters were forcibly evicted.
Meanwhile, squatters of CPI (Maoist) of Matrika Yadav have also captured forest on Kapilvastu in west central terai.
