YCL activist arrested

Kathmandu, 12 Dec: Suresh KC a member of YCL Rukum and eight others have been arrested by police, police said.
Police is investigating their suspected involvement in the deadly attack on Sita Bista in the far-West.
Maoists have denied their involvement in the assault on the woman journalist despite direct charge by Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal.

BIMSTEC meet in Nepal


Kathmandu, 12 Dec: A meeting of ministers of BIMSTEC will be held in the Nepali capital in early 2010.
This was disclosed by Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala who returned home Saturday after attending a ministerial conference of countries of South and Southeast Asian in Rangoon Saturday.
