Passengers, crew safe

Kathmandu, 11 May: All passengers and crew of of Agni Air are safe afher an emergency landing at of the aircraft at Pokhara airport Tuesday.
The aircraft developed hydraulic problem seven minutes after takeoff for the capital from the resort town.

PM Nepal begins consultations

Kathmandu, 11 May: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal began consultations with political party leaders Tuesday as government prepares to present a bill in parliament to amend the interim for the 8th time.
The interim constitution is being amended to extend therw0-yewar tenure of the constituent assembly that ends 28 May..
He held discussions with leaders of the Gupta and Debi factions of NSP.

Affort in Dhankuta to save Nepal Army barrack

Kathmandu, 11 May: Trenches are being hurriedly dug around the barrack of Nepal Army above Dhankuta to save lit form a raging fire that starated above the town at Salleri.
Firefighters are being rushed to the hill town from Dharan; the town isn’t equipped to fight fires.
The fire started at two in the afternoon Tuesday.

Organized effort to declare Nepal a Hindu state again

Kathmandu, 11 May: Nepalis in India have begun an organized effort to again declare Nepal a Hindu state.
RPP-Nepal Chairman Kama; Thapa said this Tuesday after attending and addressing a conference for a Hindu state in Mumbai organized effort being made to declare Nepal a Hindu state.
