8th round vote for premier to be inconclusive
Kathmandu, 26 Sept.: Eight round of election for prime minister in more than two months will also be indecisive Sunday.
Maoists, UML and four Madesh parties have opted not to vote in Sunday’s election.
Maoist candidate for prime minister and party Chairman Prachanda has withdrawn his candidacy.
The only other candidate in the race, NC Vice-president Ram Chandra Paudel won’t get the required 301 majority vote in parliament to win.
Madhav Kumar Nepal continues to be a caretaker premier after resigning under Maoist pressure more than two months ago.
