FOUR SERIOUSLY INJURED IN BOMB EXPLOSION IN MICROBUS IN RUPANDHAEHEI (BREAKING NEWS)

Kathmandu, 27 Oct.: At least four persons were seriously injured in an bomb explosion in a microbus planted by a rebel terai outfit in the first incident of its kind liked with more than two dozen groups active in the south bordering India Wednesday.
Criminal activities in the south are increasing.
The groups have bases across the border in India.
Maoists, now in parliament, bombed public vehicles during the 10-year insurgency.
Maoists haven’t compensated relatives of victims of the worst bombing attack on a passenger in Chitwan—an attack universally condemned.

FOUR DENGUE CASES ALSO REPORTED IN KANCHANPUR

Kathmandu, 27 Oct. Four dengue cases were reported in the far-West district of Kanchanpur as well Wednesday.
An epidemic by mosquito sting has broken out in Butwal and Chitwan.

PARTIES WOO THARUN

Kathmandu, 27 Oct. The first general convention of the Tharu Welfare Assembly was inaugurated by Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal at Ghorai in Dang Wednesday.
The assembly is being held to pressure government, constituent assembly and parliament to press Tharu demands.
A Tharu leader said the three-day assembly will reject demands for One Madesh One Pradesh of Madeshis.
The assembly will also elect a new leadership.
NC parliamentary leader Ram Chandra Paudel, UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokhrel and MJF Chairman and Deputy Prime Minister BIjaya Kumar Gachedhar, who is a Tharu, are attending the assembly demonstrating efforts of parties to woo the community that lives in the terai, mainly in the far-West. .
