CASINO ROYALE PAYS RS 3.1 MILLIONIN DUES
Kathmandu, 11 Dec.: Casino Royale situated at Yak and Yeti Hotel Friday settled Rs 3.1 million is dues to the government.
Revenue Investigation Department has launched a crackdown of casino owners and managers for tax evasion.

FINLAND EXTENDS RS 310 MILLION GRANT TO UPKEEP MAOISTS
Kathmandu, 11 Dec.: Finland has given government Rs 310 million , through the Peace Fund managed by the government, for the upkeep of 19,000 Maoist former combatants under UNMIN watch.
UNMIN withdraws from Nepal by 15 January 2011.
Denmark and Norway and other Nordic countries contributing to the Fund.
Switzerland and Great Britain are other contributors; Germany and EI are new contributors.
Non-European states are reluctant to contribute to the Fund.
