MAOIST COMBATANTS IN ILAM ATACK NEIGHBOURS NEAR CANTONMENT

Kathmandu,, 17 May; Maoist former combatants came out of their cantonment at Chulachilu in Ilam and attacked residents at a nearby settlement overnight.
One person was injured.
Three persons are missing five were abducted/
After UNMN withdrew 15 January, the 19,000 former combatants at 28 camps and cantonments are being monitored by joint teams of state security agencies and Maoists.
But monitoring isn’t effective without manpower and logistics.
