NATIONAL SECURITY COUNCIL MEETS FRIDAY
Kathmandu, 27 May: National security council meets later Friday to review the overall security situation ahead of the 28 May deadline to promulgate a constitution.
Only 35 hours remain to promulgate a constitution-- a deadline which will again be missed.
The council will discuss security measures to be adopted after Saturday as well.
Deputy Prime Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara, who is also home minister ,will chair the meet.
Other members of the committee are home and defence secretaries top brass of three security agencies and chief of National Investigation Department..
Chief of peace and security division at the home ministry Sudhir Kumar Shah is member-secretary.
