TEAM FORMED TO PROBE REEASONS FOR TEXTBOOK SHORTAGE

INVESTIGATION TEAM TO PROBE SHORTAGE OF SCHOOL TEXTBOOKS

Kathmandu, 7 May: Government Saturday formed an investigating team to probe reasons for shortage of school textbooks as a new academic session has begun.
A team has been formed headed by former secretary Jayaram Giri to recommend long and short-term measures.

SUGAT RATNA KANSAKAR TERM EXPIRES IN TWO MONTHS

Kathmandu, 7 May: The tenure of Sugar Ratna Kansakar, CEO of Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC), who has been cleared by a special court for allegedly irregularly advancing $350,000 for purchases two aircraft from Airbus to operate international flights.
The advance has been returned by Airbus.
NAC has claimed in newspaper advertisements Kansakar hasn’t assumed responsibilities after he was cleared of charges leveled by CIAA.
