TWO CONVICTED AND SENTENCED FOR MURDER OF JOURNALIST SAH

Kathmandu, 30 May: Two persons were sentenced to life imprisonment Monday by Bara district court single benchhe murder of journalist Birendra Sah for and their assets seized.shwar Poudel, the two Maoist cadres who had been in judicial custody for two years were handed down the sentence.
Managar Giri and Ram Ekbal Sahani ,in judicial custody two years, were sentenced
Maoists were charged for the murder 5 October 2007
Three others have also accused are absconding.

DR. DAVID MOLDEN OF USA WILL LEAD ICIMOD


Kathmandu, 30 May: Dr.David Molden has been appointed director general of Nepal headquartered International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD), an announcement said.
He will assume responsibilities 1 December.
