MAOIST STANDING, CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEETINGS AGAIN RESCHEDULED
Kathmandu, 21 June; Amid deep ideological and personal differences in the ruling UCPN (Maoist), standing committee and central committee meeting has been rescheduled for the second time.
The country’s largest party said officially the meetings were rescheduled because of ‘inadequate preparation’.
The central committee scheduled to meet Wednesday will meet two days later Friday one day after the standing committee meet Thursday. following an informal decision of top office bearers Monday,
The leaders discussed now to manage internal differences Monday
“Discussions were held to control them” and ‘harmonize them, Vice-chairman Narayan Kazi Shrestha.
The office bearers also discussed a general convention to discuss major differences on constitution drafting and integration of 19,000 plus fighters.
“There’s almost an understanding to conduct an internal forum to discuss differences before going for the convention,” Shrestha said.
Top three leaders who have been lobbying support by holding separate meetings were present.

GANG FORGING DIPLOMATIC PASSPORTS ARRESTED
Kathmandu, 21 June: A gang of four persons—all men-- forging red or diplomatic passports was arrested Sunday from Gangabu in the capital.
Manoj Karki, 29, Gopal Baniya, Dil Bahadur Gharti, and Prithvi Chhantyal, 43, were nabbed by police.
They procured diplomatic passports of suspended lawmakers Gayatri Shah and Bishwanath Prasad Yadav who have been charged and are serving prison terms for selling their travel documents,

BORDER POLICE POST BLASTED
Kathmandu, 21 June: A policeman manning a outpost at Ganeshpur, Bardiya, was injured Monday in an bomb attack by a suspected armed group in the south.
The post is 300 meters away from the open Nepal-India

RUKMA SHUMSHERE RANA RECALLED
Kathmandu, 21 June; Nepal’s Ambassador to India,,Rukma Shumshere Rana, a NC nominee and son of its leader and financier Subarna Shumshere, has been recalled by the communist majority government.

NEPSE RALLY COTINUED FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE DAY
Kathmandu, 21 June: Nepse rally continued for the third consecutive day of trading Monday—the second day of five –day weekly trading.
The market began to rally Thursday on the last day of weekly trading.
Nepse gained 11.78 points Monday, 15.46 points Sunday and rallied by 38.45 points in the last three days of trading.
The market fell to a six-year low when it fell below 300 point last week.
Central bank is considering loosening marginal lending institutional leaders like Citizen Investment Bank and Employees Provident Fund have entered the market reviving it .
Altogether 158, 268 shares were traded for Rs. 39.19 million Monday.
Banking and development ganb group indices gained 17.96 and 5.49 points respectively Monday.
