HOUSE SESSION BEGINS, PRACHANDA SEEKS SUPORT OF LAWMAKERS FOR DR, BHATTARAI UPDATE
Kathmandu, 28 Aug. Maoist Chairman Prachanda Sunday asked for support of lawmakers for candidacy of Vice-chairman Dr. Baburam Bhattarai shortly after parliament met to elect a government chief.
“A new basis is slowly being created for understanding, “Prachanda told lawmakers.
The Maoist chief gave details of a four-point agreement with a front of five Madeshbadi parties that ensured Bhattarai’s election.
“The agreement mentions past agreements and commitments should be seriously implemented The need for understanding with other parties is mentioned in the four-point agreement,” Prachanda revealed.
