MEMBERSHIP OF TWO CA MEMBERS SCRAPPED

Kathmandu, 9 Aug.: Membership of constituent assembly (CA)/parliament Keshav Mainali, chairman Chure Bhawar National Unity Party and Raj Kumar Nalbo Limbu of Federal Democratic National Forum were cancelled by parliament on recommendation of the parties, an official statement said Tuesday.
They have formed new parties.
A committee headed by Dr.Prakash Chandra Lohini recommendation the membership suspension.
Membership of the 605-member parliament/ CA is now 594.

OUTGOING INDIAN AMBASSADOR PAYS COURTESY CALL ON AILING PM JHALANATH KHANAL

Kathmandu,9 Aug. Outgoing Indian Ambassador Rakesh Sood paid a farewell call on ailing Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal Tuesday.
There’s no improvement in the health of the premier who is also suffering diarrhea from Monday, press aide Suruya Thapa said.
Dr. Arjun Karki advised another three-day bed rest after a check-up.
Sood also paid a courtesy on President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav.
