NC TEMPORARILY ENDS PARLIAMENT OBSTRUCTION

Kathmandu, 10 Aug.: Main opposition NC Wednesday temporarily ended its extended obstruction of parliament proceedings following a statement by Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal to resign 13 August.
The party earlier obstructed eight legislative sessions.
Deputy Prime Minister Bharat Mohan Adhikari, who is also Finance Minister, read out the statement on behalf of the ailing premier.
NC parliamentary party leader Ram Chandra Poudel said the end of the obstruction will be until 13 August 13.

FORMER KING GRACES RELIGIOUS FUNCTION IN LALITPUR AFTER LONG BREAK
