GOVT, EXPANSION WITH STATE MINISTERS DELAYED

ANNOUNCED EXPANSION OF GOVT DIDN’T TAKE PLACE FRIDAY

Kathmandu, 17Sept.: The announced expansion of government Friday by inducting state ministers didn’t take place Friday.
An aide of the premier said the 21-member government of Prime Minister Babauram Bhattarai would be expanded. Friday afternoon one day after the second expansion of his cabinet.
“Let’s not appoint state ministers in all ministries. It’s the prime minister’s wish not to place state ministers at all ministries. They should be appointed in big ministries only.
“If there’s agreement the state ministers will be installed Sunday,” Debendra Paudel, political advisor of the premier told Nagarik.
