PRACHANDA CLAIMS PLOT TO TOPPLE PRESENT MAOIST LEADERSHIP

Kathmandu, 17 Sept.: Maoist Chairman Prachanda claim Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP) of USA is plotting to finish the present leadership of UCPN (Maoist) in Nepal.
“Nepal currently is on the watch list of Revolutionary Communist Party of (RCP) of USA Day and night they planning how to finish Nepal’s Maoists.
“They visit Nepal clandestinely and meet the leadership and incite them against the leadership,” Chairman Prachanda said in an article published in monthly communist magazine
They arrived earlier this year ahead of a politburo meeting in Gorkha and party leadership came to know of their arrival only after the Gorkha meet, the Maoist chief said.
The revelation comes amid a bitter dispute between a group led by First Vice-chairman Mohan Baidya and establishment side of the party chairman and Prime Minister Baburam Bhattaraai.
