SHER BAHADUR DEUBA RESSIGNS AS CENTRAL COMMITTEE MEMBER (BREAKING STORY)

Kathmandu, 28 Sept.: Sher Bahadur Deuba resigned as central committee member of main opposition party Wednesday amid differences in the party over dissolution of executive committees of four fraternal organizations.
Deuba was nominated by President Sushil Koirala.
The three-time prime minister announced the resignation at a news conference.

Kathmandu. 28 Sept.: NC General Secretary Krishna Prasad Shitaula Shitaula said Chairman Prachanda and Prime Minister Baburan Bhattarai ‘were very positive”.
“Talks were positive,” he said.
Controversial statement of Defence Minister Sharat Singh Bhandari were also discussed in the talks, Shitaula said.
MJFN (Ganatantrik) Chairman and Communication Minister Jayaprakash Prasad Gupta also opposed the Bhandari statement.
Gupta said in Biratnagar Wednesday the five-party front is opposed to cessation.

CPN ML SAMAJBADI THREATENS TO WITHDRAW SUPPORT .

Kathmandu, 28 Sept. CPN (ML) Samajbadi threatened to withdraw its outside support for the government of Prime Minister Bhattarai who heads a coalition of UCPN (Maoist) It demanded an official government position on a controversial statement of Defence Minister Sharat Singh Bhandari.
The statement has been widely condemned.
