DISSATISFACTION AS VICE-PRESIDENT JHA OFFERS ONLY RS.25 DHAKSHINA AT NABADURGA TEMPLE IN BHAKTAPUR

PLANT DESTROYED

Kathmandu, 12 Oct.: Altogether 6,636 packets of sub-standard
milk were destroyed by a market monitoring team in Balaju northeast outskirt of the capital Tuesday.
A raid was conduced after the family of a child fell sick drinking the milk of the milk.produced and marketed by a dairy plant there.

AT BHAKTAPUR TEMPLE

Kathmandu, 12 Oct. In the absence of the president, Vice- president Parmananda Jha offered only Rs.25 dhakshina at the Nabadurga temple Tuesday at Bhaktapur after worship and 19 debghans expressed dissatisfaction, Kantipur reports from Bhaktapur.
The president used to offer Rs. 2,000.
“We felt we were ignored,” Debghan Krishna Prasad Banmala said.
‘More than us, take your problems to the cultural ministry through the local administration,” the vice-president said.
