CHRISTIANS DEMAND BURIAL SITE WITH PRESIDENT YADAV

TWO DRINKING WATER PLANTS SEALED
Kathmandu, 29 Nov.: The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control has sealed two drinking water companies based in Chalnakhel of Kirtipur, RSS reports from Kirtipur.

The sealed companies are Heena Drinks and Beverage Pvt. Ltd. and the Bibhuti Pure Drinking Water Industry.

The Department ordered these industries to close after it was found that the bottled drinking water these plants were supplying was unhygienic, according to the Metropolitan Police Sector, Pharping.

The companies were sealed off in the presence of security personnel and technical staff at the Department, it is learnt

CHRISTIANS DEMAND BURIAL SITE IN DEMAND SUBMITTED TO PRESIDENT
Kathmandu, 29 Nov.: A delegation of the National Federation of Christians on Tuesday called on President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav and submitted a memorandum, calling for managing a burial site for the Christian community, RSS reports.

Recognising churches as religious guthis, investigation into the bomb blasts taking place in churches in different places in the country, their security and enforcement of three-point agreement reached between the Federation and government are among other demands put forth by the Federation.

The delegation comprised lawmakers Laxmi Pariyar and Govinda Praja also.

Receiving the memo, President Yadav said that the demands were positive and assured to drew the government's attention on the issue, said Federation General Secretary CB Gahatraj.
