BIRD FLU DETECTED IN VALLEY
CA BEING EXTENDED BY SIX MONTHS
Kathmandu, 29 Nov.: The Big Three and a front of Madeshbadi
parties meet Tuesday discuss to discuss and approve a suggestion of a four-member task force to extend the constituent assembly (CA)/ parliament for six months after 30 November Wednesday.
A four-member task force formed by the big parties is submitting its suggestion Tuesday.
Parliament also meets Tuesday to approve an 11th amendment to the
interim constitution to extend the CA tenure by six months.
Government and parties have completed the groundwork for the
extension.

BIRD FLU DETECTED IN VALLEY
Kathmandu, 29 Nov.: Cases of bird flu have been detected at
Sukumbasi basti of Jadibuti region bordering Kathmandu and
Bhaktapur, Dipak Dahal reports in Nagarik.
Government declared Nepal bird flu free five months ago.
A5 was confirmed following tests of dead chickens by at a Teku
laboratory.
