TASK FORCE MEMBERS AGREE TO EXTEND CA TENURE BY
SIX MONTHS; KRISHNA PRASAD SHITAULA

Kathmandu, Nov. 28: A meeting of the taskforce formed a day earlier to work out a calender of events prior to the extension of the Constitution Assembly term held discussion on Monday, RSS reports.

At the meeting held at the Ministry of Peace and Reconstruction at Singha Durbar, taskforce members expressed satisfaction over progress in the ongoing peace process according to Bahadur Bogati, a member in the taskforce from UCPN (Maoist).


Bogati further said the meeting also discussed the formation of the Disappearance Commission and Truth and Reconciliation Commission was also held in the meeting.

Another member of the taskforce Krishna Prasad Sitaula said all the members of the cross-party panel agreed to extend the tenure of the CA by six months.

Sitaula added that the meeting also requested Maoists to move ahead as per the agreement on the seized properties during the conflict period.
