GOVT, TO ACQUIRE 95 PERCEENT MAJORITY STAKE IN BISHAL BAZZAR COMPANY

Kathmandu, 17 Nov.: Government will invest money through the sale of prime land New Road, in the Bishal Bazzar Company shopping complex, an official announcement said Thursday.
Government will acquire a majority 95 percent stake in the company with the investment.
The land on which the shopping complex belonged to the government.
There was Janashewa Cinema Hall a cinema hall there and anti-government protestors brought it down during the early panchayat regime.

DONORS, GOVT. TWO-DAY MEETS BEGINS THURSDAY

Kathmandu, 17 Nov.: Two-day portfolio performance review meet of donors and government started in the capital Thursday.
Bilateral and multilateral donors, including Asian Development Bank (ADB) and World Bank, are participating.
