THREE OFFICIALS OF SWC SACKED
Kathmandu, 15 Nov.: Deputy chairman of the Social Welfare
Council Dataram Khanal, treasurer Ratna Bahadur Gaha Magar
and member-secretary Chhiwang Yangdel Lama were sacked by the cabinet Tuesday.
The cabinet met for two hours.
Brig. Gen. Ram Krishna Adhikari and Rajendra Kshetri were promoted to
major general.s
The tenures of Colonel. Dhan Bahadur Shah and Shyam
Sundar Sharma were extended for three more years.
Former education secretary Uday Raj Soti was appointed
chairman of the Education Service Commission.

MISSING COUPLE FOUND DEAD IN PYUTHAN

Kathmandu, 15 Nov.: A couple missing for the past five days have been found dead on the bank of the river, RSS reports from Pyuthan.

Netra Bahadur Khatri (60) and Gauri Khatri (55) of Dakhakwadi, Pyuthan were found dead on the bank of Madi River, according to District police Office,
Pyuthan.

The couple´s body was found being tied with a rope, informed ASI Ram Bahadur Mahatara.
