KABADDI TEAM LEAVING TUESDAY TO PARTICIPATE IN 14-NATION WORLD CHAMPIONASHIP

Kathmandu, 6 Dec.: A 36–member kabaddi team is flying for New Delhi Tuesday to take part in the Kabaddi World Championship slated for December 9-11 at Faridabad in the outskirts of the Indian capital from 9 to 11 December.
The team includes 26 players — 13 men and 13 women.
Dambar Baduwal, Jaya Bahadur Bohora, Man Bahadur Ranabhat, Bhuwan Khadka, Padam Shrestha, Yubaraj Shrestha, Bijay Chand, Prem Gurung, Lalit Khadayat, Chandra Bohora, Dipendra Chand and Jagat Bhandari ae members of the men’s team.
Sangita Gautam, Nirmala Bista, Netra Thapa, Shanti Malla, Nitu Gurung, Harina Thapa, Kalawati Ayer, Bina Bhatta, Nirmala Bam, Keli Gurung, Kalpana Shrestha, Salina Ale Magar, Mamata Rajkoti and Ram Kala Nagarkoti are in the women’s squad.
Fourteen teams are participating in the World Championships.
